How to Play
Thirty-six cards sit face down in a 6 by 6 grid, hiding eighteen pairs. Every pair is a distinct shape, such as a moon, a bolt, or a drop, so you can match them by outline even without relying on color.
Flip one card, then a second. A pair stays up for good; two different shapes stay visible for a moment and then turn back. With twice as many pairs as the small board, the game is less about lucky guesses and more about keeping a mental map of eighteen spots.
Rules
- Two flips make one move, and your score is how many moves you took to clear the grid.
- A matched pair can't be flipped again; a missed pair turns face down on its own.
- The layout is shuffled at the start of every game.
- The best possible score is 18. Fewer moves rank higher, and equal scores go to the faster game.
Tips & Strategy
Sweep in lines
Reveal new cards in reading order, row by row. When a shape turns up again, you'll know roughly where its partner was because you've been moving through the grid in one direction.
Anchor on the odd ones
Shapes that stand out, like the crossed X or the hollow ring, are easy anchors. Lock their positions in first; they make the plainer shapes around them easier to place.
Don't waste a known card
If the first card you flip is a shape you've already seen, take its partner immediately. Guessing elsewhere throws away a free match.
Clear the corners
Corners and edges are easier to remember than the middle. Matching them early shrinks the grid you have to hold in your head.

How is Medium different from Easy?
The grid grows from 16 cards to 36, so each card is smaller and there are far more positions to track. Most players need more than twice as many moves here.
What's a good score on 6x6?
Even a player who never forgets a card averages about 29 moves here, so a game in the 30s is strong and anything under 30 is excellent. The minimum, 18, takes luck as well as memory.
Does Medium have its own leaderboard?
Yes. Each board size keeps its own daily, weekly, and all-time rankings, so scores on different grids never mix.
