Privacy Policy

Snackplay is a collection of free browser games. This page explains what we collect when you play, why, and how you can remove it.

Playing without an account

You can play every game without signing in. Your scores and settings are then kept only in your browser's local storage — we never see them, and they stay on that one device and browser.

What we store if you sign in

Signing in uses Google. We never store your Google name, email address, or profile photo. The only account data we keep is:

• An internal account id (a stable identifier from Google, not your email).
• The nickname you choose, shown on leaderboards.

If you sign in after playing as a guest, your local scores are moved to your account so you don't lose your best runs.

Scores and leaderboards

A submitted score is stored with your account id, the game, the score, and how long the run took (used to catch implausible scores — see our fair-play checks). Leaderboards only ever show your nickname, never your account id or any Google information.

Anonymous play stats

To show how many people are playing a game right now and how many times it's been played, we record anonymous, short-lived play sessions. These are not linked to your account or any identifying information, signed in or not.

Analytics and advertising

We only run analytics or ad cookies after you accept them in the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for the full breakdown of what each category does.

Who handles it

Snackplay and its database run on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address and basic details of each request (the page asked for, your browser type, your approximate location) so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our own request and error logs there are kept for up to 7 days. Signing in is handled by Google, under Google's own privacy policy. We don't sell or share your data with anyone else.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and every score tied to it at any time from your account page. This can't be undone. Guest data can be cleared by clearing your browser's site data.
