How to Play

Two decks' worth of cards in two suits, spades and hearts, are dealt into ten columns: six cards in each of the first four and five in the rest, with only the top card face up. The other 50 cards wait in the stock, top right, for five later deals.

Move a face-up card onto any card exactly one rank higher, whatever its suit. Cards stacked in order and all of one suit travel together, so a hearts 9-8-7 moves as a block onto any 10. Tap a card to send it and everything above it to its best spot, or drag it where you want it. When you're out of moves, tap the stock to deal one new card onto every column.

Rules

  • Only a run in one suit, descending by one, can be moved as a group; a mixed-suit stack has to be taken apart card by card.
  • Any card or run may go into an empty column.
  • The stock can't be dealt while a column is empty.
  • A complete run from King to Ace in one suit leaves the table by itself. Clear all eight to win.
  • You start with 500 points, lose 1 for every move or deal, and gain 100 for every finished run. Undo takes its move back, points and all.

Tips & Strategy

Build in suit when you can

Putting a heart on a spade is legal, but it locks both cards together until you pull them apart again. Prefer the matching suit whenever two targets are open.

Uncover before you tidy

A move that turns up a face-down card is worth more than one that only neatens a column. The hidden cards are what trap you late in the game.

Treat empty columns as tools

An empty column lets you park a run while you sort the one below it. Try not to fill it with a lone low card you have no plan for.

FAQ

Can every deal be won?

Every Daily Challenge deal comes from a set our solver has already won. New Game shuffles the whole deck, the classic way, so now and then one can't be beaten; Restart deal lets you retry the same cards.

How is the leaderboard ranked?

By score, which comes down to fewer moves for a win. Equal scores go to the faster game, then to whoever finished first. Your moves and their timing are replayed on the server before a score counts.

Why won't the stock deal?

At least one column is empty. Move any card into it first, then deal.
