How to Play
Snackpop starts with five rows of bubbles hanging from the top of the field. Your shooter sits at the bottom, loaded with one bubble, and the next one waits beside it. Put down a finger anywhere above the shooter and drag to aim; a dotted line shows where the shot will go, bounces included. Let go to shoot. With a mouse, just point and click.
The bubble flies until it touches another bubble or the ceiling, and sticks there. If it joins two or more of its own color, the whole group pops, and anything that was hanging from them falls away.
Rules
- Three or more touching bubbles of one color pop. Bubbles no longer connected to the ceiling fall.
- Tap the small bubble next to the shooter to swap it with the loaded one, as often as you like.
- Five shots that pop nothing bring a new row in from the top and push the board down. The dots beside the shooter count them.
- The game ends when a bubble sits below the dashed line.
- Clear the whole board for a bonus and a fresh one; the game carries on for as long as you keep up.
- You only get colors still on the board. Four colors to start, a fifth at 1,500 points, a sixth at 5,000.
Tips & Strategy
Use the walls
A bank shot reaches gaps a straight one can't. Follow the dotted line to see exactly where it bounces.
Cut clusters loose
Dropped bubbles are worth twice as much as popped ones. Pop the few that hold up a big clump.
Keep the combo going
Every popping shot in a row adds more: the second is worth 50 extra, the third 100. Swap first if the loaded color has no match.
Watch the dots
When one miss is left before a new row, a safe pop is worth more than a risky bank shot.
FAQ
How is the score worked out?
10 points a popped bubble, 10 more for each past the third in one group, 20 a fallen bubble, a combo bonus for popping shots in a row, and 1,000 for clearing the board.
How do the leaderboards stay fair?
Each game's layout comes from a seed our server signs at Start. When you finish, it replays every shot exactly and works the score out itself.
Can I tell the colors apart without color?
Yes: every color has its own mark, a dot, triangle, square, diamond, star or cross.
